Drivers Pc Bematech Rc 8000
Hi Guys, I need some help.I have an AVC A1SE with the RC 871 remoteI have downloaded the RC 8000 software from the Denon US site using a serial I found on Google.I loaded it on an XP computer (doesn't seem to work on Vista 64) and plugged in the USB. Pointed the update driver wizard at the 8000 program folder and loaded fine. Then I loaded up the editor program and backed up my remote - no probs. It asked me if I wanted to convert it to V3.0 so I ticked yes (big mistake I think!)Then I tried a restore just to test it worked ok and it downloaded the backup but all I have now is a blank SYS Call page on the remote, and that is it.Have tried reconnecting the software but it seems to crash.Any thoughts or help wrt a system recovery would be appreciated!! Success - Lazarus lives!Sequence to fix1 reset remote (this enabled usb driver to be found again2 downloaded the default file supplied with the sw to the handset3 upgraded the handset to version 3.13 which came with the software bundle downloadWhat happenedI reckon the original FirmWare version on my handset was v2.0. I then in my ignorance did a backup but converted the backup to v3.0. Therefore when I restored the back-up I was loading v3.0 format into v2.0 firmware ie. It would not work.As soon as the 3.13 firmware was downloaded everything is now OKNext stepDo you think that I can program a Hex Code (which I have)to the handset which will unlock multi region on my Pioneer BDP LX-71?Has anyone got any experience of this?
